Collections are different for each person…I collect quite a few things:
- Snowglobes
- Westies (not just the real deal)
- Vintage Cookbooks
- Books in general
- Christmas — let’s just leave it at that.
So here’s the catch! All my collections are still in CA. I miss them. I want to display things. I feel like my home is SO empty. Slowly things are coming over thanks to my VERY gracious parents sending a box here and there. I got rid of A LOT of stuff. It’s amazing what emotional attatchment we have to THINGS.
But, I do feel that you have to admit, although you wouldn’t call them “collections” it’s really okay to say “I can never have enough…”

finally…an open letter to old navy…
Dear Old Navy,
I love your clothes. They are just so darn cute, and great price to boot! But whoever decided to put the tags on my side where I ITCH IT ALL DAY LONG needs to be fired.
